The Impact When Your Brain Has Too Many Tabs Open

Ever finished a day and thought, “I did so much… so why do I feel like I did nothing?”

That’s distraction. Not laziness. Not failure. Just too many tabs open. Too many balls in the air.

You can reply to messages, scroll a bit, half-listen to someone you love, jump back into an email, check the news, check the group chat, check the fridge (for no reason)… and somehow, before you know it, the day disappears.

It’s like trying to eat a meal while standing at the kitchen bench picking at bits. You’re technically eating… but you’re not actually enjoying it or gaining full nourishment from it.

You see constant distraction doesn’t only steal time. It also steals depth. Depth in your thinking. Depth in your conversations. Depth in your own self-awareness. And without depth, life starts to feel noisy and oddly flat at the same time.

So here’s the question: where do you have lots of tabs open, when what you actually want is to feel more and be more fully present?

✨ If you want more presence without going off-grid, reach out. This is the kind of shift I help people make.
